How to access psychoanalytic psychotherapy at AGIP
There are a number of ways of accessing psychotherapy at AGIP
Fairbridge Low-Fee Clinic
For students, unemployed and those in receipt of state benefits
The Fairbridge Clinic offers twice weekly psychotherapy for a fee ranging from £8 to £25 per session. You will be asked to commit to two years twice weekly in person psychotherapy sessions and be prepared to see a training psychotherapist.
If you are unsure whether you might qualify for the low fee rate please contact the office for clarification.
The fee for the initial assessment is £35.00
Concessionary Clinic
For those on income below £25,000 per annum
If you wish to be considered for the concessionary rate we have some spaces available. The concessionary fees with AGIP range from £26 – £50.00.
The concessionary clinic offers some flexibility, and video sessions are possible. This is considered on a case by case basis.
The fee for the initial assessment is £55.00
Assessments
An assessment is an opportunity for you to discuss any issues you may wish to bring to psychotherapy and to decide with the assessor whether psychoanalytic psychotherapy is appropriate for you. We endeavour to offer an assessment as soon as we receive a completed questionnaire. The consultation will last about 1.5 hours. Assessments take place at the clinic in London or virtually (on Zoom).

You can also email us and we will email you the form. If you are suitable for this service an assessment appointment will be offered and payment can then be made using a link shared by email.

If you are not eligible for the low fee/concessionary clinics you are welcome to contact therapists directly. Fees for ongoing Psychotherapy usually range from £50.00 upwards per session. You will find a therapist directory on the link below.
