Marcia Barrington
I am interested in the hidden experiences we live by. Often, the life we present to the world and the life we experience within ourselves can feel surprisingly far apart. My journey into psychoanalytic psychotherapy grew from a belief that beneath many of life’s struggles lies a deeper narrative waiting to be heard and understood.
As an AGIP Training Member, I offer a thoughtful space to slow down and explore the gap between the life you have built and the life you feel inside. I work with experiences such as anxiety, disordered eating, loss, relationship dynamics, race and identity, SA and complex trauma, always with the belief that understanding begins with curiosity rather than judgement.
Rooted in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I pay attention to the patterns, relationships and histories that shape our emotional lives. I work with warmth and honesty, offering a reflective space where you can feel genuinely listened to and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
I work in person in Archway and in Highgate, beside Hampstead Heath in North London.
