Annual Lecture 2020 - Deep positivity, a Post-Post Jungian approach to pcychotherapeutic healing - Speaker: Dr Birgit Heuer

Sanatology is an enquiry into the importance of positivity in psychotherapeu-tic healing. Textual analysis of clinical writing shows that our work currently is informed by a negativistic outlook. Deep positivity is an emerging world-view that can be argued via quantum and complexity theory. This enables a sanatological orientation with a different relational feel in the consulting-room.
Dr Birgit Heuer is a Jungian Analyst with a previous training in body-psychotherapy and thirty-nine years of clinical experience in private practice. She teaches on several Jungian-Analytic trainings, at Birkbeck College, at the Centre for Psychosocial Studies, University of Essex and on the CAJS Webinar Course. She has published numerous papers and book-chapters. Her PhD is on ‘Sanatology, a Clinical Paradigm of Health and Healing’.
